Punjab CM inaugurates Gujranwala Motorway Link Road, Safe City Project

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Express Motorway Link Road and Safe City Project in Gujranwala on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Naqvi delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony of Express Motorway Link Road Gujranwala and congratulated the people on the completion of the projects.
The CM said the Express Motorway Link has been formally opened for traffic today, adding that the little work left on the project will be completed in a few days.
CM Naqvi said with this link, the distance between Lahore and Gujranwala has been reduced to 45 minutes and along with this link, a bridge from Benazir Road to GT Road will also be constructed to go to Gujranwala shortly.
He expressed hope that the next government should complete the signal-free bridge from Expressway Link to Gujranwala.
Work on the up-gradation of several hospitals in Punjab is going on rapidly.
Later, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi arrived at the office of the Safe City Authroity and inaugurated the Gujranwala Safe City project.
He was informed there that the Safe City project was completed in a short period of 45 days and cameras had been installed at 109 locations in the city of Gujranwal.
IG Police Punjab and Chief Secretary Punjab were also present along with the caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi.
