Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi inauguratee Pakistan's largest biogas plant

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated Pakistan's largest biogas plant in Lahore. 

This biogas plant built in Gujjar Colony of Lahore is producing 6000 cubic meters of gas per day. About 16,000 kg of organic fertilizer will also be produced from the Gujarpura Biogas Plant.

On Sunday, Mohsin Naqvi officially started the production of compressed biogas plant by pressing the button.  Mohsin Naqvi visited different parts of Gujarpura Biogas Plant. Organic fertilizer produced from Gujjar Colony biogas plant will be given to Punjab Horticulture Authority.


The Punjab Horticulture Authority will keep sufficient fertilizer for its requirement and sell the surplus fertilizer to the farmers
