Karachi court orders suspect Amin to jail for acid attack on wife and daughter

A Judicial Magistrate in the Western District of Karachi has ordered the remand of suspect Amin to jail following the horrific acid attack on his wife and young daughter, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Friday.

According to the details, the court has also ordered the police to file a supplementary challan of the case for the next hearing.

The investigative police officer told the court that the suspect was presented in court after completing his physical remand.
He said the suspect fell ill during the investigation, causing delays and necessitating two remands.
He told the court that accused Amin viciously attacked his wife, Iqra, and their 3-year-old daughter with acid.

He said the accused wife Iqra was a constable in the Balochistan Police.

As per the FIR, the victims suffered severe burns on their faces and bodies due to the acid attack and the case was registered at the Saeedabad Police Station.
