Karachi police have arrested a thief namely Hassan who was found involved in Rs2 million thievery case from Clifton’s Driving license branch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accused Hassan, who is a painter by profession, pleaded guilty and in a video statement admitted his crime. He told the police that he was fond of hardware engineering and he selected this site because he observed that the security arrangements around the site were zero.

While wearing a mask, he entered the office at night and first of all closed the security alarm system in the office. He removed more than 18 computer RAMs and other necessary items from the IT office and record room.

The accused further claimed that he has a lot of practice about removing various items and he knew about the prices of various items installed in the system.

The accused Hassan further stated that he put all the goods in a school bag and escaped from the site.
