UK elections: Three Pakistani-origin candidates win seats for Labour Party

Three Pakistani-origin candidates from the Labour Party have emerged victorious in the UK general elections, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Friday.

According to the channel report, Yasmin Qureshi and Afzal Khan successfully defended their seats for the third time, while Naz Shah also secured a win.

As per the initial results, British-Pakistani Mohammad Afzal Khan garnered 15,050 votes, marking his third term as a Member of the British Parliament.
