Former PTI minister on three-day physical remand

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) office-bearer Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on a three-day physical remand in a case related to the May 9 incidents,  

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, police presented the PTI member and made a request to the court for granting his physical remand.

After hearing the arguments, the court approved the police’s request and sent Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on three-day physical remand.

On May 9, the PTI members took to the streets to vent their spleen over the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case across the country.

They damaged public property, state assets and sensitive installations. They stormed GHQ in Rawalpindi, Corps Commander House in Lahore and Radio Pakistan in Peshawar leaving a trail of destruction.
