Former First Lady Bushra Bibi Tuesday met with her husband and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Attock jail, reported the 24NerwsHD TV channel.

The meeting lasted for an hour and at the end of the meeting, Bushra Bibi left for her home without speaking to reporters, who had gathered outside the jail.

She was allowed into the jail after a brief standoff with police. When Bushra Bibi arrived near the prison at around 2.30 pm she was stopped at a police checkpoint. The police also barred PTI lawyers and others from moving past the barrier, leading to a standoff which lasted for about 60 minutes.

She was accompanied by the legal team outside the Attock Jail but the lawyers were stopped at the check post. The lawyers' team included Umair Niazi and Shiraz Ahmad Ranjha. Bushra Bibi was allowed around 3:30 p.m. to enter the jail. 

Earlier, a complete search of Bushra Bibi's car was conducted, and her mobile phone was taken from her.
