Police lodge FIR against 16 stage actresses for obscene dances

Police have registered cases against 16 stage actresses in connection with obscene dances and for using meaningful sentences during performance in Gujranwala, reported 24 NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The cases have been registered under Sound System Act against stage actresses Nida Chaudhry, Ayesha Chaudhry, Sumaira, Rubab and others.

Model Town Police took action on the directions of Punjab government and the caretaker Punjab Information Minister Amir Mir.

Station Head Officer Model Town said that after receiving directions police conducted raids on different theaters including Capri, Punjab and Gujranwala Theaters for arresting accused.
