The mutilated body of an unidentified person was recovered from an empty mansion in Ahmad Town, within the limits of city police station Khanpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, the mansion belongs to local businessmen Atif Jatoi and Zulfiqar Jatoi, which has been closed for a long time.

Police said the body is old and unidentifiable and are investigating the matter with the help of the forensic team.

Meanwhile, a dead body was found on the Brala Branch Canal near the Chak-470 in the limits of city police station Samundri.

According to rescue officials, the body is several days old and unrecognizable.

The body was taken out and transferred to the civil hospital, rescue officials said.

The organs of the dead body were cut, and the identification could not be done.

 The police have taken the body into custody and started the investigation.

Moreover, the rescue 1122 officials retrieved the body of a minor kid from Liyari Canal in Karachi. The child was identified as two-year-old Hameedullah.
