The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has adjourned the hearing of post-arrest bail in four cases related to the May 9 incidents involving the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, until September 7.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the court has summoned PTI's founder's lawyer, Barrister Salman Safdar, and the special prosecutor for arguments in the next hearing.
Barrister Salman Safdar could not attend the hearing today due to other commitments, and his junior lawyers appeared on his behalf, stating that Barrister Salman was busy at the High Court.
Judge Arshad Javed of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case on Thursday.
The PTI founder has filed bail applications in four cases, including incidents of arson at the PML-N office, setting a container on fire at Kalma Chowk, and another incident of burning a container in front of National Park Gulberg.
Eight bail applications by the PTI founder are currently under consideration in Court No 1.
