Judicial Magistrate Imran Abid rejected the bail application of accused Muhammad Shafiq involved in Provincial Minister Azma Bukhari's viral video case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The court issued a detailed written decision of bail rejection for the accused.

In its written decision, the court declared that the accused was named in the Azma Bukhari viral video case, and he forwarded the objectionable material, and this nature of cybercrime cannot be taken lightly.

The magistrate wrote that the evidence and material on record were sufficient to connect the accused with serious crimes.

The court does not agree with the arguments of a defence lawyer. Therefore, the application is dismissed.

The decision of the application should be attached with the challan, as the court ordered.

It may be mentioned here that FIA has registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Azma Bukhari.
