Police in Umarkot recover two women from husbands’ captivity

On the order of a court, police in Bhagat, a suburban village of Umarkot, Sindh have recovered two married women along with their seven children from the captivity of their husbands, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Police said both women were sisters and had told the court that they would stay with their husbands only when they would treat them properly or otherwise, they would be left with no other option but to go to their parent’s home.    

The women were brought to the Kunri police station.
