Punjab govt seeks details of expenses

On the other hand, the government of Punjab has sought from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the deputy commissioners (DCs) details of the expenditures to be incurred on the arrangements, including those related to security, being made for the event.

Quoting its sources, the channel has reported that the provincial government has sought details of the money to be spent on the installation of cameras, lighting arrangements to be made at the venues of the matches and transport of the players.

They have informed that the PCB and the DCs will submit these details to the standing committee on law and order, which then will seek their approval from the cabinet.

The concerned officials have told 24News that both the Punjab government and the PCB will together pay the expenditures.
