In a joint operation against bandits in the Kacha (riverine) area of Kandhkot, police and Rangers successfully neutralized Imdad alias Amdo Bhio, the leader of the notorious Bhio gang.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, four other bandits were injured during the joint operation of police and Rangers on Saturday.

The police said this operation follows an attack by the Bhiu gang on a Kandhkot police checkpoint five days ago, which resulted in the martyrdom of two officers and injuries to three others. Since then, continuous operations have been conducted by police and Rangers to dismantle the gang.

Police have confirmed that the body of the infamous bandit remains with his associates.
