A woman in Sunder has been left devastated after an online taxi driver stole her iPhone 14 Pro Max, which she was sending to her relative.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the incident happened on Wednesday when the woman booked a ride through an online app and handed over the phone to the driver.

However, as soon as the driver received the phone, he cancelled the ride and switched off his phone.

The woman tried to trace him, but he sped away in his car after getting the iPhone.

The victim provided the CCTV footage of the handing over her iPhone to the online taxi driver and filed a complaint at Sunder police station with the hope of getting her phone back.
