Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi laid the foundation stone of the Khalid Butt Chowk Underpass and Ghorha Chowk Defence Mor Flyover projects.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the chief minister said the projects will be completed in three months

The projects will provide a signal-free corridor from Center Point to Defense Mor.

The two-lane underpass will be constructed at Khalid Butt Chowk and the three-lane flyover will be constructed at Ghorha Chowk Defense Mor.

The LDA will construct the underpass and CBD flyover, the chief minister said, adding that the repair of other structures associated with the project will also be done.

With the completion of the projects, the traffic troubles will be fixed as 180,000 vehicles will get immense ease in daily movement, he added.

Talking to the media, he reiterated his resolve to better public service delivery.

Regarding security steps on the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain, he said no decision has been made on suspending cellular service.

He added all-out resources have been utilized to maintain law and order on the Chehlum of Hazrat Imran Hussain and the urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh

The Provincial Minister, chief secretary and other officials concerned were present on the occasion.
