Pakistan Navy inducts two new warships on Defence Day in Karachi ceremony

The Pakistan Navy inducted two new warships, PNS Babar and PNS Hunain, during a ceremony at Karachi Shipyards, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

According to the channel report, the event was graced by President Asif Ali Zardari, who served as the chief guest.

The induction ceremony was attended by top military officials, including the Chairman of Joint Chiefs and the Chief of Naval Staff.

The event also saw participation from the Deputy Minister of National Defence of Turkey, highlighting the strong defence ties between the two nations.

The new additions to the Pakistan Navy fleet enhanced the country’s naval defence capabilities and contributed to maintaining regional maritime security.
