Taking notice of the sale of LPG at inflated rates, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) issued directives to ensure the commodity sale at the notified price.
According to a spokesperson for Ogra, the marketing companies must ensure the sale of LPG at notified prices.
The Authority insisted the notified prices of the commodity must be visibly displayed at the LPG cylinders and distribution outlets, the spokesman said adding that this could help maintain the price check.
Ogra directed the provincial and district governments to play their due role in controlling the price, the official said adding that the field teams are in action to keep a check on LPG prices.
The distributors must abide by the rules to avert legal action, the authority warned.
