Despite only using a single stove, a citizen of the Ichhra area in Lahore received a gas bill amounting to one million rupees for his modest three-marla home.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, affected citizen Muhammad Waqas expressed his frustration stating that he has repeatedly visited the Sui Gas office to resolve the issue but no action has been taken to correct the bill.

He said with a monthly income of only 30,000 rupees it was impossible to pay the exorbitant amount.

Waqas appealed to the authorities of the Sui Gas Department to review and rectify the erroneous bill.
