Rejecting the allegations leveled in the notice issued by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the 190 million pounds National Crime Agency case, Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has told the bureau that she will appear in the court tomorrow (Thursday, June 8) along with her husband, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

In her reply to the notice in which she was summoned as a witness in the case, she has said that she observes purdah, and last time had come to Islamabad to attend the hearing along with her husband. “And on June 8, too, I will be accompanying my husband to Islamabad,” she has said, asking the bureau to record her statement on that date.

PTI chief’s wife has also asked the NAB to provide concrete reasons as to why she should become part of the investigation.

Bushra has further said that she knows nothing about the case. “I gave 458 kanals of land, Rs285 million, building and other donations to the Al-Qadir Trust on March 24, 2021 under the Donation Agreement,” she has said, adding, “I had given copy of the document of the donation to the Trust’s chief financial officer on May 23, 2023.”

She has further said in her reply that Al-Qadir University is a Trust which is of no benefit to any of its trustees.

Bushra has said that her secretary looks after the matters related to the Trust.
