Not happy with the court’s decision that allowed their sister to go with her husband with whom she had tied the knot of her own free will, the bride’s brothers in Jaisra Walla, a suburban village of Daska, on Friday night opened fire at the bridegroom’s house, killing his brother, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

As soon as husband and wife reached their home, eight men resorted to indiscriminate firing.

Although the couple remained unhurt, the bridegroom’s brother Hamza Sardar, who received four bullets, died.

The incident spread panic and fear among the residents of the village.

Saddar Police said they had collected the evidence and shifted the body to a hospital.
