The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced local body elections in Islamabad will be held on September 29.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the commission released the schedule for the LB elections and banned the transfers, postings and announcements of development schemes in Islamabad.

Nomination papers will be collected from August 16 to 20 and the scrutiny will be held from August 22 to 26 while election symbols will be allotted to the candidates on September 6.
