An accountability court in Islamabad has approved 11-day physical remand of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Al-Qadir Trust case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Hearing the case on Thursday, Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana adjourned the proceedings until August 12.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was investigating Imran Khan, his wife, and others about the alleged acquisition of hundreds of kanals of land under the name of Al-Qadir University Trust. This acquisition, it is alleged, resulted in a reported loss of $241 million to the Pakistani exchequer.
