ECC okays maximum retail prices for cardiac stents

Approves grant of Rs 8.40 b for foreign ministry

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Federal Cabinet has okayed the maximum retail prices of the four new cardiac stents for heart patients, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.  

This approval was granted during a meeting of the ECC that was held in Islamabad with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair on Monday.

The committee approved a grant worth Rs 8.40 billion in favor of the Ministry of foreign affairs. 

The committee approved a technical supplementary grant worth Rs 5 billion in favor of the Ministry of Housing and Works for the current financial year 2022-2023 for the execution of development schemes of Ex-FATA.

The ECC also approved a grant of an additional area of 15.88 Square Km in the Soghri Exploration License.

It approved a grant of 6 months of extended well testing over the Qabul-2 St-1 discovery in the Khipro Exploration License.

The meeting approved a technical supplementary grant equivalent to 50 Million dollars to be obtained from the World Bank as 1st Tranche of a Credit Line of 85 million dollars.

The committee accorded approval to another TSG of rupee cover of Rs 7.840 billion against an amount of 33.1 million dollars for World Bank financial inclusion and infrastructure project.

It okayed a grant of Rs.200 million to Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company.
