The mystery death of the ninth-class student in Attock has been solved by police as his friends turned out to be the killers of the slain Hashim, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, the body of 9th-grade student Hashim, a resident of Bisal village, was recovered from the local dam.

Police said Hashim went to school but did not come back home, and police registered a case of kidnapping at the request of Hashim’s father, Karamat, and started an investigation.

Earlier, Hamza and Zeeshan, the accused who killed Hashim by drowning in water, were arrested by police. The accused were close friends of the deceased Hashim.

During the investigation, the accused confessed to drowning in water, and before the murder, the accused gang-raped Hashim, police said.

The accused tied the school bag and clothes of the deceased Hashim with stones and threw them into the dam, which was taken out of the dam after the accused pointed it out.

In this regard, the District Police Officer (DPO) said that the brutal elements do not deserve any concession and the accused involved in the incident will be challaned by the court with concrete evidence.
