Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan has said the chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan urged the party members and supporters to mark the Independence Day with national fervour.

In a video, Omar said he is conveying a message of the PTI chief to party members and supporters in connection with Independence Day celebrations.

The former prime minister wanted PTI to mark the day with national zeal, Omar Ayub said.

“This is our country. We love it and we can sacrifice our lives for its defence,” he said, adding that Imran Khan directed the PTI workers to celebrate independence across the country and show to the world that “we are an independent nation”.

The expatriates should also join the celebrations, he stressed.
