PUBG game: Teenager deprived of cash, 200 tola gold worth Rs 40m

The famous game “PUBG” has reportedly destroyed another house in Multan as a gang robbed a teenage boy of millions of rupees by harassing him through the game, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, a 14-year-old boy namely Haris who used to play the game PUBG was mentally paralyzed by a gang and deprived of him of millions of rupees cash and 200 tola gold biscuits worth Rs 40 million.
On the complaint of Haris' father, Basti Malook police station registered a case under section 386 of extortion against the accused.
The FIR said that the teenager Haris, a resident of Mumtazabad, is an eighth-grade student and his father, Chaudhry Iftikhar is a private factory owner.
It added said that Haris was befriended by Hyderabad residents Arsalan and Rashid through the PUBG game.
Haris was threatened by Arsalan and Rashid, residents of Hyderabad, and extorted money from him.
They used to give him an indication of death after leaving the game.
The police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
The PTA has banned the PUBG game after several incidents of youth suicide in the country.
