Two people were killed when they were struck by lightning at village Bhotaro of Tharparkar on Saturday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to reports, 40-year-old Chetan and his wife Radho Bai were sleeping in their home when the incident occurred.

On the other hand, intermittent rain continued in Tharparkar throughout the night, while the weather department has forecast more rains for the area during the next 24 hours.
