JIT questions Imran Khan in connection with 13 cases

A five-member joint investigation team (JIT) is presently questioning former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in connection with 13 cases registered against him at different police stations of Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The PTI chairman had been nominated in two cases registered at Khanna police station and in two cases registered at Shahzad Town police station.

Apart from that, he is also being questioned in connection with cases registered against him at Bhara Kahu, Secretariat, Margalla, Ramna, Tarnol, Karachi Company and Kohsar police stations.  

Strict security arrangements have been put in place as Imran is answering the questions of investigators at DG’s Office in sector G-11 of the federal capital. 

The JIT consists of SSP CTD, an inspector, an investigation officer and two officials of security agencies.  

 After appearing before the JIT, Imran Khan reached his Bani Gala residence where he will stay tonight.
