Buzdar declines NAB appearance but gets another notice

Bureau directs Punjab ex-CM to appear at 11am tomorrow

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar tomorrow at 11:00 AM after the latter apologised to appear before NAB Lahore today due to his scheduled appearance before the Multan Bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The NAB Lahore had summoned Usman Buzdar on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the assets beyond means case.

Usman Buzdar is unable to satisfy the investigation team of NAB Lahore, the informed sources have said.

Usman Buzdar was summoned to answer 30 questions related to the inauguration of Rs40 billion projects in one day and the award of a contract for the construction of a dam in Dera Ghazi (DG) Khan to the persons of his choice.
