CM Naqvi increases grant to Gulab Devi Hospital by Rs100m

The Punjab caretaker government has increased the grant to Gulab Devi Hospital in Lahore by Rs100 million for the current financial year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to official sources, Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has increased the grant for Gulab Devi Hospital to Rs200 million.

Earlier, Rs100 million had been earmarked as a grant to Gulab Devi Hospital for the current financial year.

The official sources said that Rs10 million had been added for the purchase of medical equipment in the hospital.

The Health Department also recommended to the caretaker government to increase the grant of Gulab Devi Hospital for the next financial year.

There are recommendations to allocate an annual grant of Rs50 crore for Gulab Devi Hospital during the new financial year.
