Imran Khan leaves for Islamabad to attend court hearing

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has left for Islamabad to attend the hearing of his cases in the high court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The PTI chairman changed his departure schedule. First, he wanted to leave at 6am, but he left at 9am from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore. 

The Islamabad High Court today is hearing cases against Imran Khan related to his speeches against state institutions and his involvement in the attack on Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha. 

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq will hear the cases at 2:30pm.

Imran Khan will appear before the court.

Only selective people holding court passes could enter the courtroom. 

Strict security measures have been taken in and around the Islamabad High Court.
