The summer vacation in all Punjab schools will start from June 1 and they will last until second and third week of August, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday, quoting its sources.

The School Education Secretary said the summer vacation will start on time this year and a summary in this regard will be forwarded to Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi next week for approval.

Last year the summer vacation had started on June 6 and ended on August 15.
