♦ The ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition has decided to express no confidence in the three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. During the meeting, it was unanimously decided to boycott the three-judge Supreme Court bench hearing the election delay case. In the consultative meeting, the leaders held that a larger bench of the Supreme Court has already dismissed the election petitions by a majority of four judges against three.
♦ Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Fazlur Rehman said the ruling coalition would neither negotiate nor hold any dialogue with the PTI chairman Imran Khan on elections. Talking to the media after a PDM huddle, which boycotted the three-member Supreme Court (SC) bench hearing Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) elections case earlier today, he said the SC was hearing an important case regarding elections adding that two judges distanced themselves and another two dissented with a nine-member bench hearing the case. We do not trust this bench and the Chief Justice. A few judges clearly want to give relief to Imran Khan. Morally, the Chief Justice and his two associates should step back.

A group of Terrorists operating from Iranian side attacked a routine border patrol of Pakistani security forces operating along the Pakistan-Iran Border in the Jalgai Sector, District Kech. In the attack, unfortunately, four soldiers including Naik Shair Ahmed, Lance Naik Muhammad Asghar, Sepoy Muhammad Irfan and Sepoy Abdur Rasheed were critically injured and later embraced shahadat.
