The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has closed the investigation against Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) president Abdul Aleem Khan
in a housing society case, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to sources, the watchdog was investigating against property tycoon in a fraud case regarding Park View Villas River Edge Housing Society Lahore.
However, NAB Lahore informed Aleem Khan in writing regarding the closure of the investigation.
Abdul Aleem Khan has been a provincial minister during the PTI era.
Aleem Khan is currently the Central President of the newly established political party Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party.
According to the NAB Lahore, Khan had started a real state business in which he invested tens of millions of rupees. He bought 900 kanals of land and a further 600 kanals of land through a company set up for this purpose, A&A Private Ltd.
However, according to the accountability bureau, the PTI leader was unable to show the sources of income with which he purchased the land.
