Govt notifies transfer, posting of officers

The federal government on Friday issued transfer and posting orders for several senior officers across different departments, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to the official orders, Nazia Abrar Khan (Grade 19, PAS) currently serving in the CDA has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Permanent Delegate at the Permanent Delegation of Pakistan to UNESCO, Paris.

Arshad Farid Khan (Grade 20), an OSD has been assigned to the Virtual Regulatory Authority. 

Deputy Secretary of the Finance Division, Fahad Ahmed, has been made an OSD while Deputy Secretary Shagufta Iqbal transferred from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs to the Industries and Production Division. 

Zafar Iqbal has been transferred from Industries and Production to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. Grade 19 officer Abdul Rauf, serving in the Balochistan Revenue Authority has been repatriated to the FBR. Dr. Arshad Mahmood (Grade 22, PAS) has been made an OSD. Grade 17 officer Muhammad Siddiq, serving in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has received a one-year extension in deputation. 

Lt. Commander Muhammad Saeed's tenure as Education Officer at Pakistan Marine Academy has also been extended for one year, effective from February 16, 2025. 

Zeenat Tariq, Section Officer in the Finance Division has been made OSD and granted leave. Asad Ali has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Director at the Directorate General of Special Education, Islamabad, from his previous position as Deputy Director at the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation. The official notification has officially issued by the Establishment Division for these orders. 

These transfers and appointments are part of the federal government’s restructuring to enhance departmental efficiency.
