After an increase in liquified petroleum gas (LPG) prices, Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC) on Saturday also hiked the price of liquified natural gas (LNG) by 34.55 percent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Oil and Gas Development Corporation also issued a notification regarding an increase in the price of LNG.
The notification stated that an increase of $6.45 per MMBtu in the price of LNG has been made.
The price of LNG was increased by $6.31 per MMBtu for Sui Northern Gas Company, and after the increase, the LNG price for Sui Northern Gas Company has reached $25.84 per MMBtu.
Following a price hike of $6.45 per MMBtu, the price of LNG for Sui Southern has reached $25.08 per MMBtu.
Earlier, on July 31, 2026, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas by Rs12.89 per kilogram for August, according to a notification issued on Friday.
Following the increase, the new LPG price has been fixed at Rs254.32 per kilogram.
The price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has risen by Rs152 to Rs3,000.92.
OGRA said the revised LPG prices would take effect from August.
