Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing green finance initiatives, implementation of the national green taxonomy and the rollout of sustainability frameworks, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Minister Aurangzeb was talking to a delegation led by President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Jean Bouquot in Islamabad on Monday.
The Finance Minister also noted the need to support SMEs in formalizing their financial reporting practices and highlighted Pakistan’s proactive regulatory direction in digital assets and emerging technologies, where new institutional frameworks are being established to bring innovation into the formal, transparent, and compliant economy.
