The Proud Women Festival 2022 is being held at Nasir Bagh on The Mall from February 10 to February 13.
Back-to-back festivities including Qirat, Hamad, and Naat contests are part of the special event being organised to highlight the role of more than 52 percent population of the country in building the nation.
Competitions of speeches, calligraphy, painting, and cooking are too part of the festival. It will consist of special stalls of garments, cosmetics, henna, jewelry, books, and foodstuff.
Islam guarantees women’s respect in all walks of life and, according to the organisers, the event is aimed at highlighting women’s status.
