Following an increase in the price of diesel, the price of kerosene oil has also been increased by Rs4.92 per liter to reach Rs175.80 per liter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a notification issued on Sunday, the new price will take effect from today.
Hitherto, the notification added, the price of kerosene oil was Rs170.88 per liter.
Late Saturday night, the Petroleum Division had announced hike in the price of high speed diesel by Rs11.30 per liter to reach Rs268.38 per liter, while the price of petrol remained unchanged.
