There are three National Assembly constituencies in Islamabad where registered male voters have outnumbered female voters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), 10 National Assembly (NA) constituencies in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad have less number of registered female voters than males.
The ECP says in these constituencies the difference between registered male and female voters is even more than 10,000.
In NA-52, Islamabad, the number of registered female voters is 13,173 less than males, while in NA-53, the difference reaches 16,426. In NA-54, the difference is of 10,042 voters.
Similarly, in NA-55, Rawalpindi, there are 32,208 less registered female voters, in NA-56 27,984 less registered female voters, and in NA-57, registered female voters are 29,487 less than males.
In NA-61, the difference is of 11,853 voters, in NA-62 of 23,819 voters, and in NA-63 of 18,433 voters.
Overall, over 124,12,000 less female voters are registered in Pakistan than males.
