Due to dense fog in plain areas of Punjab, Motorway Police on Sunday evening temporarily closed Motorway M-4 and M-5 for traffic.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Motorway Police spokespersons said in a move to regulate traffic, Motorway M-5 has been temporarily closed from Sher Shah to Zhaher Peer. Additionally, Motorway M-4, stretching from Abdul Hakeem to Pindi Bhattian, has also been closed for the time being, affecting travel between these locations, the spokespersons said.
The Motorway Police spokesperson urges citizens to refrain from unnecessary urban travel during this period. The closures are part of strategic measures to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety on the motorways.
