The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Large Taxpayers Office achieved a milestone by collecting record Rs3,256 billion tax from Karachi during the fiscal year 2024-25, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Large Taxpayers Office (LTO) Karachi also collected a record Rs184.78 billion during one day.
According to latest statistics issued by the Large Taxpayers Office Karachi collected Rs449.5 billion in June 2025, which is 48 percent more as compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year 2023-24.
Under the supervision of Chief Commissioner Zubair Bilal Large Taxpayers Office showed outstanding performance.
Large Taxpayers Office collected Rs3,256 billion during the fiscal year 2024-25.
Large Taxpayers Office posted an increase of 29 percent in tax collection as compared to the collection of the previous fiscal year.
