Social media content creator Zainab Ali, wife of TikToker Ali Hyderabadi, has made a series of serious allegations after a viral video of their alleged divorce sparked widespread discussion online.
In a lengthy Instagram video, Zainab claimed that Ali divorced her in February, kept her confined in her own home afterward, and was himself responsible for recording and circulating the now-viral video before later denying any involvement.
Taking to Instagram, Zainab said, "He divorced me in February but kept me in my own house like a prisoner. He himself recorded that video, shared it on his WhatsApp channel, and then deleted it. Now he's claiming he didn't do anything. This is his business, and his family is also involved in it. I never wanted to make any video. He was the one who started all of this."
She then went on to detail what she described as three years of physical abuse, threats, emotional trauma, and financial exploitation during their marriage.
"For the past three years, I have been a victim of this abuse. I have been living with depression. For three years, I was continuously beaten and humiliated in front of people, and even now, Ali left after assaulting me and breaking my finger."
"I tolerated all of this. How much more can a woman endure? I am ready to provide proof of everything I am saying."
She further alleged that Ali financially benefited from her while mistreating her throughout their relationship.
"He only lived off my money. He stayed in my house. I gave him respect, but he humiliated me. He kept threatening me, saying he would leave me and publicly disgrace me. But this time, I have to take a stand. How long can I remain silent? Allah will punish him. He should never be able to use another woman for fame."
Zainab also accused Ali of allegedly interacting with female TikTok users for financial gain during livestreams.
"He traps girls during TikTok Live sessions. He used to say that I wasn't supporting him enough, so he had to attract other girls for gifts. He would talk to them and exchange contact details. If he needed support, he could have collaborated with men instead of misleading young girls. I want everyone to stay away from this man."
She went on to claim that Ali initially approached her through Instagram after seeing her financial stability.
"He lived in a small house. When he saw my home and my financial situation, he messaged me on Instagram, trapped me, and took advantage of my money. Now he is threatening me, saying that if my mother, my brother, or anyone from my family comes to see me, he won't let them enter. Imagine living with someone like this for three years. I have spent these years battling depression."
Concluding her statement, Zainab appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for protection, alleging that she had received serious threats.
"I appeal to CM Maryam Nawaz to protect me from this man. He has threatened me repeatedly and even claimed that he has influential connections who could have me killed. Please provide me with protection."
Zainab's statement comes after a video featuring her and Ali Hyderabadi circulated widely across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The clip fueled speculation about the couple's relationship, with many users questioning whether they had divorced or whether the video was staged for online engagement.
According to the viral footage, Ali Hyderabadi appears to be arguing with Zainab, who repeatedly asks him to stop recording. During the heated exchange, he is allegedly heard pronouncing divorce in the presence of her brothers and other family members. However, Zainab did not state in her latest video that a divorce had taken place, nor did she directly confirm the authenticity or legal status of the alleged divorce.
As speculation intensified, Ali Hyderabadi also addressed the matter through an Instagram Story, urging people not to rush to judgment.
He wrote:
"Assalam-o-Alaikum. I am your Ali Hyderabadi. Since yesterday, you have been watching my viral divorce video on social media. Right now, I can't answer anyone, so please don't leave negative comments. The truth will be revealed to everyone."
