Rumours linking Pakistani actress Durefishan Saleem with content creator Rajab Butt have been dismissed after both Rajab and Durefishan's makeup artist publicly reacted to the viral claims.
The speculation circulating on social media alleged that the two had been in a secret relationship for over a year and were planning to get married next month.
Some posts also claimed it would be Rajab Butt's second marriage.
However, Durefishan's makeup artist, Yashwa Anjum rejected the rumours in a comment shared online.
Expressing her take, she wrote that it was the "worst news" she had heard and made it clear she did not believe the claims.
On the other hand, Rajab Butt also addressed the speculation through his Instagram story with criticizing digital media for spreading unverified information.
Calling the reports "fake," he wrote, "What a shit digital media we have. Fake spreadings."
The video accompanying the rumours featured separate clips of both personalities attending public events, but neither suggested any connection between them.
As of now, neither Durefishan Saleem nor Rajab Butt has confirmed any relationship and the viral marriage claims remain unsubstantiated.
