Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said on Sunday the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government conducted the nuclear tests in 1998.
Speaking to media persons outside his Evenfield residence in London soon after his arrival in the British capital, Sharif said that JF-17 Thunder was a joint venture between Pakistan and China.
He said the PML-N gave Pakistan missile technology. He said that Pakistan’s economy was growing at the rate of nearly 7 percent in his government and the nation must be told who wreaked havoc with this country. He said the PML-N has to focus more on performance than politics.
Earlier, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left for London. Sharif, who is president of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and three-time former prime minister of Pakistan, will stay in London for two weeks.
His son Hassan Nawaz and personal doctor, Dr Adnan, are accompaning him during his London visit.
According to 24NewsHD TV, Sharif arrived in London for a medical checkup.
