Two people died immediately in an explosion at a house in Darra Adamkhel Akhural on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Soon after the incident, Rescue 1122, medical and disaster teams reached the spot.
The house was completely destroyed in the blast.
Rescue 1122 building in Bannu damaged in explosion
Earlier on Sunday, 24News TV channel had reported that an under-construction building of Rescue 1122 in Bannu was damaged after the explosives planted inside the building exploded.
Unidentified militants had planted the explosive material in the building, situated within the limits of Kakki police station.
At least seven people, including policemen, were martyred in separate incidents of firing in Bannu on Friday.
According to police spokesperson, the incidents occurred within 24 hours also resulted in injuries to five citizens, including policemen.
“KP Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed is also on a visit to the region for reviewing the security situation,” he said, adding that people were “fed up with the terrorists and retaliated whenever they came across them”.
The militants, associated with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch separatist outfits, have again started hitting government and military installations in KP and Balochistan in recent years.
