Armed men stormed a mosque in Dil Meher area of Shikarpur during Fajr prayers on Sunday and kidnapped three people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Later, they gunned down two persons and injured a third one.
Police said the deceased had been identified as Khan Muhammad Mehr and Umar Mehr, and the incident was a consequence of an enmity between Jatoi and Mehr tribes.
The bodies were shifted to the tehsil hospital.
Police further said that evidence had been collected from the crime scene and an investigation had been launched.
The Force informed that the area had been cordoned off and raids were being conducted for the arrest of the assassins.
