Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Monday conducted a surprise visit to the NADRA Mega Centre located at University Road Safoora in Karachi, where he reviewed facilities being provided to citizens.
During the visit, the Interior Minister inspected various counters at the centre and met citizens who had arrived to obtain identity cards and other official documents.
He inquired about the registration process and asked visitors about their experience at the facility.
Citizens present at the NADRA Mega Centre expressed satisfaction with the services, stating that there is no need for long waiting times for identity cards and related documents. They said their turn arrives on time and staff members fully cooperate with applicants.
The Interior Minister also interacted specifically with senior citizens, listening to their concerns and issuing instructions to prioritise their services.
He directed officials to ensure that senior citizens and women are given preferential treatment in service delivery.
Mohsin Naqvi praised the performance of the NADRA centre in charge and staff for maintaining efficient service standards and facilitating the public in an orderly manner.
Officials said the visit was aimed at reviewing citizen service delivery and ensuring further improvements in NADRA operations across the city.
