During a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov, Punjab AssemblySpeaker Ch Parvez Elahi Tuesday said that the objective of his politics was to serve the people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Parvez Elahi also led the Azerbaijani ambassador to different parts of the new Punjab Assembly building the grandeur of which the latter appreciated.
On the occasion, Parvez Elahi maintained that there had always been an effort by him and his party to solve basic problems of the common man.
Also, Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi met the office-bearers of Broadcast Association, Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), and All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS).
Nai Baat Media Group chairman Prof Dr Ch Abdur Rehman, Dunya Media Group chairman Mian Amir Mehmood, CPNE deputy secretary general Yousuf Nizami, and APNS member Umar Shami were present in the meeting.
Express Group editor Ayaz Khan, CPNE Punjab vice president Irshad Arif, and APNS president Sarmad Ali were also present.
